I went ahead and ordered a lot o from Shawn I ve got several pounds of rough that i ran thru My Lortone 33 with 60/90. I am thinking I want To finish them in a Vibe. The lot o sure seems like a popular Tumbler. Lots of different opinions on how to run it Reckon i'll have to decide on a procedure this weekend If it arrives on Friday This is getting addictive Thanks David BaytownTexas

You're going to like the Lot-O. It saves time and grit. What more could you ask for?

Ordering a loto was by far the best choice I made. Then later on, I stumbled on a set of three of them at an estate sale that I also picked up. So then I was up to 4 lot-os. At that point, my 12 lb lortone couldn't keep up with feeding them, so I had to build my big tumbler that can roll 3 12 lb barrels at once. Now, my summers keep busy keeping my tumblers going and I've got rocks all over the place now

I've been tinkering with the New lot o I have my first batch in there now with 500 grit, I did the rough grind in a Lortone 33, then 48 hours in the lot o with 220, Unfortunately I am gonna have to pause it at 24 hrs. Have a family funeral to attend in Oklahoma, So I cant be here to monitor the Lot o
Also if I remember right there used to be a few rock shops going up 75/69 Maybe I can stop and get a few souveniers

Keep it running (add a little H2O) or fill the barrel with water to cover up the rocks and let it sit. Don't let it dry out or the grit mayl fill in the cracks and it will be hard to get out. You could also burnish at this point just to see how they look and if ok move on to polish
Good luck Sorry to hear of your loss

You're gonna love the vibe, I have got to get mine started again!! I use mine primarily for finishing tumble-pendants for the craft shows. I tumble 500-600 at a time and bell cap them, they sell like crazy!! Anyhow, be sure to post pics!!
