Howdy folks, had some time on my hands this morning so I went for a hunt in my buddies Eagle Pass gravel pile. Pretty unproductive but I still had fun as the weather was real fine. My camera battery pooped out after three pics so I'll post the rest later but here are the first ones. Texas Turritella. Basically this is limestone like Devil's Toenails but with turritella type snails. in addition to clam type stuff Found a ten pounder broke in half. Nice boulder of striped flint: Orbicular rhyolite with kind of pink orbs on blue

Wish i was there Mel.That place is an agate gold mine,i had most luck close to that river.
