OK battery recharged so here are a couple of more pics from today's hunt.....Mel Unfortunately this is too dense to be interesting but it's my first green moss I've found n a long time. Today was the day for finding a lot of those weird little frothy, tubey agates and some dendrites. And a lousy two pitiful Rio Grande moss agates Don't even now why I picked this up except it's some weird flint pseudomorph full of tiny nodules. And finally, a couple of pieces of typical Texas pet wood.

Fossilman: I'm growing to love Texas pet wood too. When I was out west I had pictured Texas pet wood as just being kind of blah and earthtones of brown and black etc. A good percentage is that way but man, a lot is ultra colorful and the variety of species seems amazing. Much of it is colored on a par with the rainbow pet wood of Arizona and then there is shrinkwood which I really really like.....Mel
