This is my first attempt at any wire creation I chuckled when I looked at it but I admire it just the same. After I made this tiny little ring I tried my hand at my first real wrap. The wire is fairly thin and pure copper. So my lines aren't the straightest none the less what do ya think? ONE RING TO RULE THEM ALL Pendant Thanks for looking.

The copper goes good with the color of the stone. I started with some hard wire from a hobby place and it drove me crazy cause my pliers stripped the silver coating off. I finally balled it up n went back n got some square wire n half round and my wraps got better then but the real difference came when I got my set of pliers from Donnie! Wow they make it so much easier! So you got tge right idea now save up n get some pliers.

Great start! Like what you did with binding on the ring!

Exactly the way I started. It will get better with each piece you do. I cut off a lot of copper wire and tried again but what you made there works and looks pretty good. Jim

First off- I wouldn't laugh at this. It's a great first effort by any measure. Second- I love your attitude! You'll go a long way with wire wrapping. Sometimes it can be frustrating, but with a good sense of humor about it, you can learn from mistakes and move on. Kudos!

I think you did good as well! You've got the first commandment of wire wrapping under control: The Wire Shall Hold the Stone Securely. The rest is just experience . . . and fun!

Actually kind of looks like my first wrap. We have to start somewhere and that's the first wrap. I will dig up my pic when I get out of the hospital and post it. I have only done a few wraps and we do get better. I know I will never come close to what must be natural talent of some of our members but slowly will improve. Looks good keep at it!
