WTH?? ice melting making soft slushy mud for you to sink in?? Shotgunner, muskeg is like a peat bog. It freezes in the winter, but sometimes it has hot spots due to decaying organic matter. You never know when spots will heat up.That ice road has been in use all winter. I just happened to hit the lottery and fell through. Being a tough winter for everyone up there. The early snow covered the skeg before it could freeze to a good depth. Only about a foot of frost under the snow pak. Must be that dreaded global warming that caused the early snow ;D. Geoff, that's my truck. Schlumberger was the reason I ha to go to that lease. We ran one of there Rita pumps and they were flow testing it and froze there line off. I thawed it for them.
