Here is my first lot-o load. I couldn't be happier. The material wasn't great, and and shined up about as much as expected. I didn't want to start with good material and mess it up on the first try! It definitely looks better in person than in my photos. Some day I will build a light box and learn how to take a decent picture... The rough: The close up doesn't show the shine at all... Let me know if the images don't work. Google changed how they do their hosting... It works on my pc, but I am not sure if the permissions are right. If not, here is a link to the album: plus.google.com/photos/100685041197327477744/albums/5858268261768559121?authkey=COb6vYXz3vvgLQ

nice pet woods. How long did those spend in 60/90 and did you rough them in a rotary before the lot-o?

Chuck, The woods were in the vibe for 4 days in 200. There was one piece that I threw in that I had in a rotary a while back (the piece at the very bottom of the first picture. The jaspers probably should have been in a rotary, but I was excited to get going, and wanted to get a variety of sizes in the tumbler. I now have a load in that is all wood, and I will see how it goes. I might leave it in a little longer this time.

z - There is a ton of the ugly brown stuff around here. I pick up a lot of it. A lot of time it turns out just brown, but sometimes some you get surprised.
