Seed(actually viviparous propagules) from a cross between the South African native tropical waterlily 'Micrantha' and dark purple 'Stellata'.It is the most viviparous tropical hybrid you can buy.And the blue blooms are splashed with white spots. www.floridaaquatic.com/waterlily_islamorada.htmlI found these propagules in the bottom of the pond after risking life and limb for you Helen.By the end of your Orlando summer you will have 100's of these easy to grow propagules. Also known as the Cotton Lily cause they attract Cottonmouths(just kidding).

James, you are too funny:). I'm starting to realize that everything you handle or like tend to be dangerous. Sok, I'm the same way. So, I'll be watching out for baby cottonmouths when I open the 'seeds' bag:P.
Oops... I should add, I don't expect more than 1 or 2!! You are over the top generous, James.

Yes too generous, there was 487,937,988 of those propagules in the little container i called a pond.It was 8 inches deep and very dangerous to reach down into.Oh and all the Cottonmouths........yea yea yea.The bad part is there was 20 other varieties in the same container that i brought in from Thailand last year.I think they did not make the winter. Not to worry, the next weapon they have is their seeds and the bottom of that pond will have 254.89 times more seedlings than propagules.(calculations estimated):>.

Jim, at first I thought your seeds were bug seeds! I see they grow up to be pretty flowers. Whew!

Just trying to entertain you Scottgunner:> Pat,oughta look up viviparous if you don't already know.It is where a new plantlet(roots, tuber, stems and leaves) grow straight out of the stem/leave connec tion. That plant is so vivaparous that i have seen a plantlet grow out of the plantlet before it broke away from the mother stem/leaf junction.Tropical water lilies are from S America Africa Orient. They cross polinate and seed out readily making new hybrids constantly.Crazy plant
