Well I went out today,just to stretch my legs more than anything...
So I thought I would drive over to Independence and hunt the bridge area for rocks.Well as I was about to pull into the space,I see the State Police and two unmarked police cars there.
Hummmmmmmm,nope,I just kept going straight ahead..LOL
I ended up going to Minto Park in Salem,found a few rocks,nothing to brag on I guess....
As I was leaving there I could see a green flat bottom boat coming down the river towards the other side of the river and up a piece.They pulled into a gravel bar on the other side.
Two guys with white buckets and a black dog....Looking for rocks..
I said to myself,"Self",I hope they have better luck than I did..LOL
Well I was tired anyhow,so I decided to head on down the road and go home........
Well the day wasn't have bad,I got to get out of the house.
On the way home I usually take the secondary highways(I hate traffic)....When I was just about to Dallas,I see this older car coming down the road"Lickity Split".....VROOOOOOOm,sailed right past me...A "67" Black Shelby 350!!!!!!!
Now it don't get any better than that,out of the whole day,that was the ticket for me!!!! Hell ya'!!!!!

rocknrob: There was a shop in Portland, don't know if it's still there called Kenny and Zukes who made the absolute best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had. The problem is every restaurant thinks their sandwich is worth $20 now and seldom makes the grade. Nov 12, 2024 9:53:31 GMT -5
