Nice stuff, I know you meant to say Trilobites for the top image. Would you mind sharing prices even in a PM

Tom, yes Trilobites, I have ammonites and the kids got a bunch of small ones.
It was a local show, all people I know, and I got all the fossils from the silent auction table.
I think the large Trilobite was $35, each of the smaller ones was $3. The Orthoceras was $17.
The place to get this sort of stuff is from small shows, or from wholesalers at large shows. There were some folks selling this type of thing last summer at the Denver show, the Orthoceras were $5 for individual ones, in that black marble matrix. I bought some large (12") ammonites for $20 each.
Morocco is definitely a major fossil source, at least recently, which is the only experience I have. The markups are tremendous on these though, typically.

Looking great. Interesting subject to collect. Only problem over here in Asia is that the prices are incredibly high and there are lots of reproductions in the market. All those doctored and/or reproduced things have driven my interest away from the subject long ago.
But is great to see what you guys are able to collect.

Bad thing about the fossils from Morocco, they flooded the market and killed the prices for the American fossils.........I know where there are tons of American fossils that will sit till the prices come back up,sad situation about the whole thing is,these guys are stubborn enough to just bury it all again! SAD... I have a few pieces from Morocco too,but thats as far as I will go collected them too...... Like hearing your kids getting involved with your rockhounding too-thumbs up...
