I wrapped this for my daughter on her birthday. She thought the stone looked like a mushroom so I put a small stem on it. She loves it all but I am not happy with the stem. She is the one wearing it so I am happy that she is happy. The wire is Beadalon 22ga fancy square non tarnish silver plated. I am not good enough to use real silver and probably never will be. Thanks for looking Jim

That looks good, and you are right, as long as she likes it that's what matters.

I usually don't commment on wraps because I can't do them but:
A few obsevations "I'm not happy with the stem" - when I saw it I thought to myself I love the stem and then read your post after
"I'm not good enough to use silver..." - I think it looks perfect, it looks to me you could use whatever you want
I think it looks spectacular Great job Bill

I like the stem, it has a nautical look because the wire looks like a coiled up rope. Awesome pendant!!

I think you are more than ready for silver Jim. Everything looks even and nice and tight to me.

I was not sure how everyone would vote so thank you all for the great replies.
I did not see the nautical look until Randy pointed it out. I really like that description. Jim

I think you did a great job and the stem adds even more interest to it. You ARE ready for silver. Beware, though- working with it makes one a little paranoid at first, just relax while you use it.

Dang, Jim! That really is very nice! I would be quite pleased if I were to do that well after several! (when I learn to wrap)

Jim, I love it! The wrap is incredible and I love the stem...especially with the colors in the rock! You did a great job and shouldn't sell yourself short. A few have told me that we are often our own worst critics. I think that's true but there isn't really anything here to be critical of. Take it to the next level!!! Cathy
