I finally got these 2 rings done. The sterling ring blanks were purchased from Rio Grande, and given to my daughter Abigail in January for her 16th birthday. I picked the larger ring with the intention that Abigail could pick what was set in it. My wife picked out the smaller ring. I used the mother of pearl cab I originally planned to set in a ring I was trying to make (gave up on that project for now). I cut the mother of pearl cab smaller to fit this ring.

The chunky high dome Citrine is 13x18, rough purchased on ebay. The mother of pearl is 10x14, and was self collected in Illinois by Ted's house (tandl on here). Abigail loves them!
