I think this is a seasonal color variation of an easter diamondback rattler... Either that or he ate the Easter Bunny! free4rms

No way... is that real??
If you skinned a rattlesnake with that coloring, would you get a skin that color?!

Is that for real? I've never seen an albino rattlesnake before, that's awesome!! I don't have any venomous snakes, but I do have a couple of albinos, an albino/lavender kingsnake and an albino ball python. Very cool! ;D

Randy, While this photoshopped snake was a very cool april fools concoction, there are indeed albino and even "leucistic" rattlesnakes. Here is a pic taken by an old friend Bill Love of a pure patternless white eastern diamond back. and another specimen: These usually have blue eyes, although some have white or black. Very cool to see you have an albino ball python! There are albinos of at least 5 species of rattlesnake. If you want to own one I can help you find some babies for purchase from reputable breeders. These genetic mutations are kinda-sorta rare. But over time we find them and once the specimens reproduce they become common. This one is for Jim

Great pics, Scott! Do you realize the leucistic rattlesnake (second photo) you posted is the very same photo that was used to create the Easter Diamondback? Whoever did it, they did a great job.
Thanks for sharing that, Vance. Jean
