I just got back from the Knappin at Glass Buttes, Oregon. Our first night the temperature went down to about 15 degrees. The Two Dog size Four Dog Stove Company nearly drove us outside it got so hot. It sure was great having a warm, and I mean warm place to be at night this year. Over all the the knappin was grat, and the digging better. I will post pictures of the obsidian later, but it was coming out of the ground in square chunks! So, here is what the Ger looks like all set up. Woody Night time Day time

How long did it take to setup? When I was a volunteer campground host in OR state parks we had those and they were very popular every night.

Nothing like warm. And nothing better than a wood heater to get er done.Got a wood heater in the basement here in Georgia.Sometimes keep it going for 2-3 months straight. But really nice to camp with a wood heater.Especially that cold outside.I could stay there all year.I got a camp in Florida w/wood heat and it is nice.It gets cold there too.I bet a tiny slooow burner would be perfect.

That tent/hut thing is killer. Now I want one. Makes the trip that much more enjoyable.

That is really neat Woody. A little younger and I might try one. But now, I just pull my tent behind the truck. A gas furnace keeps me toasty and an air conditioner keeps me cool. Curt Curt
