Thought I'd update some pics.Yall are probably tired of seeing them. But this is about all this old fart has to do! This is the row I have dumped all my tumbler slurry on over the past year. The old fashioned petunias have a sweet aroma late afternoon Some of the poppies are in full bloom Bees have really been working them Some of my veggies The flowers come up voluntarily every year.I chop or pull up most of them. Thanks for your time snuffy

Fantastic display Snuff! Our yard is like Curt's, rocky old hill. Most all our dirt has to be hauled in and bedded up. Then the gullderned skunks and dillos dig up everything you plant too cause they just love them piles of hauled in topsoil *L*....Mel

Mel,I have made my soil over the years. For about 30 years,I hauled 300- 400 bags of leaves off curbside in town every year.I let them rot and mixed them in the soil..8 years ago,I moved and hauled the soil from my other house in 5 gal buckets.Wasnt gonna leave that there!

I guess when we get older we appreciate different flowers than when we were young! Nice landscaping sheltie! This is the finest time of the year for us.Mid June starts going downhill. snuffy

Great flowers and the veggies make me hungry. I am just celebrating three days in a row with no snow. It will be another month before I dare try to plant anything outside.
