Hi Folks, I've placed over 100 pics up today on the site at www.rocktumblinghobby.com - see the link to them with todays date (15th April) on the main page near the top - "whats new at rock tumbling hobby" bit. Its taken quite a while to sift through the forums - please note the following points :- 1. They are sorted into alphabetical order (almost ) 2. There are some pics like wrapping which I havent used because they need another section - like "what to do with your tumbled rocks". 3. I have taken a bit of text to go with the pics. 4. I will have to increase the compression on some because they are a touch to big for dial-up connections. (A job for tomorrow) 5. There are a total of 36 new pages now thanks to you guys. 6. Pls let me know if Ive missed anything - I noted some pics on the board are now deadlinking due to nasty hosting companies. 7. I'll tidy it all up more tomorrow. POINT 8 - THANKS. Andy.

So far, it looks really good... if there's any other specific rocks you are looking to highlight, let us know Andy and I'm sure we can find some to post...
All in all, a great start for this project.

I have a dream about the biggest library of polished stone on earth.
Everything identified - everything documented.
Every visitor will know :-
What they hold How it was formed Its age What its worth in money How hard it is
Beyond that - only photons slamming the brain do the rest - I have no doubts about that.
None at all.
Andy.

Malkavic,
Theres "agate" from here - and "agate" from there. (Just for example that is - and they all tease the eye).
Any pics of rocks - which any single individual rolls in grit for two months is definately one for a gallery and library.
The individual puts in the effort - the result is ..........
Love it and or hate it.
Thats rock tumbling for sure.

I think you have done a stellar job Andy! Nicely layed out and organized. Very attractive. I have always hoped there would be a page like this to take my friends to, and show them some of the phenominal stones the others have created. My hats off to many of you for the effort you have put into this hobby and the knowledge I have gained from your advice as well as criticism. Thanks to all!!! {Banjocreek}

By the way Andy- I have changed servers, and if I have any dead links let me know, and I will move them and provide the address.
