Howdy folks, Well, today I had to wait for a FedX parcel that had to be signed for so I got to saw rocks all day *S*. I'll take pics of the slabs tomorrow if I get time. While the saw was running, I wandered the yard and took some more wildflower pics. We've had a couple of rain storms this week and flowers are really popping now. Texas Paintbrush and Bluebonnets. Crossvine, not native but we planted it for the Hummingbirds as it blooms real early. Autumn Sage, another early one for the hummers. This comes in several colors. We have one called "hotlips" which is super cool but not in bloom as yet. Spider wart. Love this stuff. Quite a lot grows in our horse pasture and on roadsides. An unusual columbine. We have gold and red but this one has a bit of both. Four nerved Daisy. This stuff is like a weed around here and an early bloomer the butterflies like a lot. And finally, another flower that is pretty much a weed but we grow it because it's sphinx moth food, Pink Evening Primrose.

Very nice Mel! We planted that Mexican primrose once way back when I lived in Flagstaff (early 80's). I remember it pretty much took over the whole garden and was darn near unstoppable!
