Shark tooth capital-Venice,Florida

One of these times,I will hit that Venice beach area...Got a few cousins in that area that I should visit!

Most are Megalodon.................I have teeth that are very small,that are found by the hundreds on the eastern state beaches..(I just give them to the kids)..
I have a listing that has all my info on,would have to look the names up...I do know I have a few different spieces..
Hopefully this summer,I get them framed in one of my homemade framing projects..(I'm way behind on projects-LOL)

I have some modern Great White teeth.....I don't think much on them,but still do have a couple teeth...
I have a few jaws too from modern shark..I think lemon shark and sand shark....

Looks like that place holds it's own.Odd how those teeth are in such high densities.Bad swimming holes for sure.Was half raised on the beach near Daytona and witnessed 2 attacks resulting in death and 1 in an injury within 200 yards of where i was swimming on seperate occasions.Stay away!

They eat the massive stands of eel grass that grows 0-300 feet out into the lake.Where i wade fish,called the grass line 300 feet out.It is the fish ambush line where you cast p.worms and plugs to catch bass.A couple of my visiting friends fishing a little acre or two of hard bottom holding bedding copperhead bluegills.The eel grass is visible in the fore 'ground'.The eel grass does not grow on that hard(rock)bottom so that acre is sorrounded by eel grass and is a strike zone for fish,gators,turtles and hopefully in this case,people.I fish this hole a lot and had a manatee hit me from the rear and knock me down-a love nudge.It really really really scarred me because i had a really bad experience with 10-12 foot tan gator here before.It was 6 manatee.Two babies and four adults.They circled and aggravated me for a good while.They leave a mess behind-uprooted Vallisneria(eel grass) floating on the surface.So it is easy to see where they have been feeding if you have a swamp boat that will go thru the vegetative zone of the shoreline where all the action and food chain stuff is going on.
By the way,those Georgia moron friends were catching titty bream and freaking about the size.That's southern for a big bream-you gotta hold him up against your tit to get the hook out of his mouth cause he is too big to get your hand around him.And the copperhead thing is Florida thing.They look like bluegill markings,but the head to the gill plate is copper colored.Every cast w/an artificial-never used live bait,4 months bedding/biting there.What a hole.
The canoe holds more lounge chairs,i pull guests around with the swamp boat.It is 7 miles to the shore in the foreground.If you need fish for free wait for a (almost daily)afternoon storm and watch for red flashes at lake level lightening strikes.The red flash is from it hitting the water.Go there in the boat and you will find hundreds of electricuted fish.In this lake,many will be salt water species.Namely Redfish and Flounder and tons of mullet.Come on over
