Got this large chunk,was gonna cut it in half and start slabbin away,but was curious what it is and if its worth slabbing, A cut had been made on it Thanks,thought granite,but don't think so. snuffy

gabbro, perhaps??
I have a hunk of gabbro from tandl that looks very similar.

I cut this chunk into more manageable sizes Kinda interesting,still don't know what it is.Daniels diorite seems close to it,may be. Maybe floating ghost agate,jasper? snuffy

Perhaps Black Feather? I have some almost identical to yours and that's what I was told it is. It is one of the "dirtiest" rocks I've ever slabbed.

OUTSIDE: INSIDE Very fine grained. Nothing like granite.
