One of these looks like Mahogany with no transparent areas or gold sheen but the other two cabs from the same slab have gold sheen, still no transparent bands though. I got it from my Midnight Lace bin so I'm confused as to whether those 3 are variants of Lace from the same pit or whether I accidentally put a slab in the wrong bin? All the others are DEFINITELY Midnight Lace and one..... even has a rare yellow mustard color in it (Whoohoo!!!) Hope you enjoy! backlit: backlit: (no sun today and back lit pictures are too hard to take in the rain...... the rest are just front shots) Kinda reminds me of a firery pit: And the one with yellow!!! And lastly: Thanks for taking some of your time to look at some of mine ura12

Awesome! Nice work! The top stone could very well be from a different part of the lace pit. It looks like material also from Glass Buttes they called Lizard Skin.

Rock On Krystee !!! the only real diff I see between the first and the others is that the 1st one has all the mahogany up near the surface and the rest are deeper... but regardless, they are exceptional pieces, all of them... none of mine has the mahogany like yours does, I just have the banding with a little brown towards the edge.

Thanks everyone!
Mario, angle your direction of slabbing. Those bands you are talking about.... angled you will see depth and color, a universe!

The depth in these is so cool. For a 2-D photo appear to look 3-D is saying something. I love the back lit photos. Great job Krystee.

You never cease to amaze me Krystee. I don't suppose you would be interested in shining up the pickup I am rebuilding? I would trade a lot of rocks for it. Ok, a super lot of rocks. Jim
