Howdy folks, Well, I figure all y'all must be getting kinda bored with my pics for now so this will be the last batch. Thanks for looking.....Mel Twenty pounds of tumble stuff: Couple of strange agates: Wood with red and gold plume: Another colorful shrinkwood: More typical woods: Like the black and white grain in this piece: Again, I sure wish someone had a book on South Texas Pet wood as there sure are a lot of odd types. This one looks inteesting too . Definitely shrinkie and maybe palm. And finally, I think these are dino bone wood but won't know till I cut them. Dino bone wood ( alias pocket rot wood) tends to have lo little pockets filled with agate so it resembles the cells in dino bone. Most ate too pitted to make good cabs though.
