Hello all. I've just back into the hobby of rock collecting/tumbling. I used to collect as a kid. I live in So. California so there's lots of rock collecting spots just a couple hours drive from my house.
I bought a used Lortone QT-NR at a rock and mineral show. It looks to be about 10-15 years old but is in very good shape. It Runs great. The motor has a notation on it that says "#20 non det oil every 3 months". My question is where does the motor take oil? I don't see any obvious oil holes or the like. I'd like to do a "routine service" on this tumbler to make sure it continues to live a productive life. Any help would be appreciated.

There are no oil holes. The motor uses oil only at the bearing where the armature shaft sticks out. I don't know what #20 means, but "non det" means non-detergent. I use light machine oil. Ask for it at a real hardware store. Do not use 3-in-One or WD-40.
