i have been useing a tea spoon for polish thinking it was a table spoon. hope thats why i have not been getting the polish we all strive for. needed to use 6 table spoons and was useing 6 tea spoons. "3 tea spoons is one table spoon" and one ounce of polish is 8 tea spoons

I just pour it in untill it looks right. Sometimes it works, sometimes it absolutely doesn't. Final polish is not really a concern to me as I facet and cab. I have found, tumbling helps me to see into rough to find the ISO. Sometimes, however, I get it right and I have some great tumbles. My first batch of emeralds tumbled really well, my rubies and saphires took forever. Some of those, tumbling took them from junk to gems and I got some really great facets I would not have otherwise.

2 tea spoons = 1 table spoon. I use 5 table spoons of polish.

Think I'll split the differance. Seems to work. My instructions ( that came with the tumbler) are in ounces per pound. I have a postal scale and I'm measuring that way. First batch I problably didn't use enough phase one grit or leave it in long enough. starting the second tonight...we'll see spoons spoons spoons. sorry, I think thats funny ;D cookie

But when you search for sthingy, it only comes up if you actually typed sthingy. If you search for $P00n, it gives every time you tried to put in $P00n (using special characters to indicate the s- word), even though they still SHOW sthingy.
