This is the widest variety load so far.Over one half of that load came from one giant coral, and only about 10 % of the skin off one corner. The variety is crazy on that one piece. It is the size of a refrigerator. Thanks for inspiration.

I need dynamite to chip that stuff up.I shot a 10 pounder with a .270 mag.It did not help much.It really grinds faster and chips easier after heat treatment Snuffy. When are you gonna cook another batch?

Have you thought of slabbing the big pieces? I can't help but think it would make some primo knife handles, specially with some of the rough side out.

Never thought about using the rind for a knife handle.Looks a little like stag. That's a great idea. Thanks for compliments.

Doin good James, all healed n tryin to get my stamina back. I have cabbed two of the pieces from ur coral. Its nice shiny and looks grsat but brother is that stuff hard! It will eat a 100 grit hard sc wheel up! Need diamonds for it! Its really easy to get it to shine, shines nice with only going to a 600 sc belt and then cerium oxide and sapphire powder.

I have a few outlets here in Atlanta riverrock.A lot of that rock is a big experiment in heat treating for colors. And stockpile for doing some rock shows some day.Mostly enjoyment/hobby:>
