Hi everyone... This post is long overdo. Summer got busy and I have no idea where the time went, but i wanted to put an update on here in the hopes this will help someone down the road. I did order a couple BD 303C 6" x .032" blades from John, and the blades did a fantastic job for me. Not only that but it was a pleasure dealing with John, he took care of me immediately and the product (blades) did a great job just like he said they would. I'll be asking you for a couple more very soon John, Thank you...
On a side not James was sure right also...I doubt I'll ever master the patience thing but I'm sure giving it a go :-)

I have the rock rascal model J trim saw the one without the grinding wheel. I have had it since 2010 and I use it as a trim saw. The blade that bcame with it is still cutting fine though I always added the additive to the water to prevent rust

The Pro Slicer and Indian Jeweler Supply copy are very good plated blades. They are very thin and as with any electroplated blade they have a single layer of diamond surface applied. Good for trimming valuable slabs but poor choice for chopping and slabbing. Thanks for the kind words too.
