In another post Ed mentioned something about the Rare Earth Gallery in Cave Creek. Since I was just there I thought maybe you'd like to see some pictures of this place. I posted a bunch on my blog so feel free to go look there for more. Here's just a few: This is one of the rooms in the gallery. Cool large specimen of Muscovite from Brazil Malachite and Azurite table top. This was one of my favorites. Another cool rock table. Of course I had to add a pic of my patient rock puppy Gypsy. Like I said, I have more pictures but didn't want to overwhelm you all. That place was something else. Definitely high dollar stuff but they don't mind pictures thank goodness or I'd have to buy a lottery ticket to try to buy one of those tables. Thanks for looking.

Thanks all. Yep, definitely check it out Brian. Yeah, Gypsy was a little tired out. I think she was mostly bored though.

Thanks for posting such wonderful photos! I laughed at Gypsy; one of mine just sinks to the ground and stays there when the digging tools come out. I really think she's contemplating calling the Humane Society on me.

Big and beautiful!
If I had a table like either of those, I wouldn't want to put newspapers or books on it. I'd want to hang it on the wall --- if the wall could handle it.
Never heard of this place. Thanks for posting.

Those are excellent Diane the place is very unique I wanted to take pictures but I stopped at an unfortunate time an old man's problem :help:
so I was going through to fast and Bipsy-the dear curator- wouldn't let me use the restroom some non-sense about it being broken and that really pissed me off mohstly

Gee Ed, that wasn't good, hope she wasn't lying to you. I didn't ask to use the restroom when I was there, guess I was too busy gawking to even think of it. I did have to stop later though ;-) I think Gypsy would call the Humane Society on me if she could use the phone, fortunately that's a trick I'm not gonna teach her...lol. Pat, I don't think a wall could handle even one of those tables. It would probably fall off and break and then you'd be crying for sure. My favorite aside from the azurite one was the rose quartz table.

yes, I love the malachite table, very very much. I know exactly how I would make that too.
Dang, so little time so much money... wait---- reverse that!!! So little money, so little time.
Well you know what I mean!

Yep, Scott, I know exactly what you mean. Ed, those geodes are stunning. What gets me is the size of these things. I really wonder how on earth they mine them and keep them in one piece. Must be some awesome rockhounding...lol.
