Hello all. Can someone please help me identify this stone. It was found in the mountainous regions of Charlevoix, Québec. Canada. It is opaque, pink and took a rather nice polish (picture doesn't show it) along with some quartz and jaspers. Attachments:

I'm not very good at identifying rocks, so this is just a guess. I think it looks like pink granite with a lot of feldspar in it.

Looks like the massive quartz that is pretty common in central/eastern Washington. I've found it with both pink and purplish patterns--I've always assumed that the pink is rhyolite based, but don't really know.

I would have never thought quartz, because of it's opacity.
