Okay the pink quartz is from Canada and the blue quartz I bought. After seeing what the blue quartz looked like after the T.O. polish, I was worried. But after a two day Borax burnish...an okay shine. Attachments:

Blue quartz like that can be tricky to polish. You did a nice job.

Ditto on the tricky blue quartz. I've tried it twice and neither effort was as good as yours.

Thanks everyone! I was rather worried after the prepolish stage, but the T.O. and borax burnish cleaned it up quite nicely.

Looks good, Henry. I stayed away from blue quartz due to the above mentioned reasons. Your effort came out nicely!
