I was wondering how hot the motors run and is there ever a risk of fire? Our motor on a Lortone 3b with two drums runs rather warm. Thanks Mike

They all run hot, this is normal. Wouldn't worry about fire - unless something combustible touches it.

Thanks this is our first tumbler in a long time. My wife un plugs it every night. I wanted to know if it was a problem or not. Really nice to hear the rocks moving around in the tumbler again. Thanks Toad.. Mike

Stopping it every night could be a problem especially as the slurry thickens - could take a while for the tumbling action to start again. Plus, you're doubling the cycle time. These things are built to roll 24/7.
