Howdy folks, Well, anyone who knows me knows I have a serious shopaholic problem with four things: Guns, blades, rocks and gaudy cowboy boots. Far as the boots go, my wife says I like them too gaudy but I always explain, takes a "real tough" cowboy to wear my kind of boots *L*. Anyway, I made the mistake of looking at cowboy boots on E-Bay while I still had a few bucks in my Pay Pal account. Feller had these out of production Corral Boots that fit me perfect, new and still in the box so I just had to give them a home. Just in time for the ranch cookout tomorrow too *L*. Anyway, look out Kim Kardasian here are my new babies *L*....Mel

Jean: Don't know what happened to Rosie. I've been reorganizing my photobucket. I must have messed up something. I love pointy toes or snip toes ( one's on this pair of boots are snip) on all my boots, even those I ride in. Makes it easier to hook a stirrup when yore in a hurry mounting.
Clyde: Nope, the banjo is my noise maker *L*....Mel
Nope, just checked photobucket and my pictures are still there so something must be going on with my avatar here I guess.

*L* Point well taken James. I'd not have worn them in Commiefornia either and certainly not in the state capitol here. Like they say about Austin, TX. Ain't nuthin there cept *****s, steers and horse's rears. Not a problem here in redneckville though. Of course, I'm big and ugly enough not too many folks make fun of me, to my face anyway *L*....Mel

A bookmatched set, very nice!
I love the plumes on the dark agate background. Very nice indeed. Is that a vug of white quartz crystals over the toes??
I wish I could wear boots. Sadly, I cannot. My feet require a fit that boots do not provide.

Mel, have you shown them to your horse yet? He might take some offense at them and give you a hard ride next time! LOL!
Actually, I really like them. If anything, they could be even gaudier for my tastes! Of course, it's been a few years (decades) since I could even wear boots, but I still like them. I used to like Lucchese's pretty much, over most others. Never could afford custom-built ones, though.

*L* Tom, nope I wouldn't want my horse laughing so much I'd fall off'n him. My fancy boots are for dress up. Actually, I take unending chiding about my disreputable horse gear. My favorite riding boots have holes through two of the three layers of sole. Places where barbed wire has scraped off half the pattern and the sides busting out where the stirrups hit. I just recently broke in a new pair of buckeroos but ain't nothing as comfortable for riding as a 20 year old old busted down pair of boots. I had some elk hides so long one time that they were more patch than original boot. I'm with you on Luchesse boots. I have a single pair I had to wait months for and they are freaking awesome.....Mel
