Her last thread said she was at the airport. I kinda thought she was escorting that Saudi back home for Barry. ;D

*L* She's probably gone to Commiefornia to help them register the illegals and dead folks for the next election. Or maybe she's meeting with Hillary to plan how to explain all her lies about Benghazi before her presidential run. Or good grief, maybe she's here in Kerrville organizing the three Democrats in town...Mel

Long as she doesn't come to the Dakotas. She'd get tarred & feathered up here.

Don, you haven't tared and feathered some of your politicians and I doubt that she is any worse than they are. Jim

Man, I feel so missed! O.o
I'm in Vegas... been here since the 22, and will be here til the 5th.
My mom had a reunion and I wanted to see some of the International Perfume Bottle convention... which happened to be a week apart.
I've been reading, just can't really type well on my teensy keyboard and screen, so can't do long comments, but will give you guys an update.
Reunion was at the Monte Carlo, so we stayed there for 3 days. For $80/nite, they have NO WI FI. What kind of resort is 10 years behind in technology that you have to lug a ROUTER with you in the $25/per bag airline travel days? So I got to see nothing for 3 days online, but I got to go to the Grand Canyon West, and check out the indian village at the Huapala reserve. That was really neat! Saw the Hoover Dam same day, but didn't do the full tour because we had no time. Ate at the Bellagio buffet (great deserts, mediocre food), Monte Carlo Buffet (teeny selection of food, great deserts too) and toured the strip and a few hotels.
Moved to the MGM Grand Signature, met Susan from here, who flew in from Washington State and we went to Cactus Joe's, and had a lovely buffet lunch at Red Rock Canyon and lunch the next day. I bought a box of rocks they're supposed to ship, since I can't carry it. She found me a wonderful brecciated rock from Red Rock Casino in the fountain, which I promptly stuck in my pocket and did not put back. We figure it was ok since no one arrested us and Susan could defend us if she had to:).
Then, met up with another friend and went out to Death Valley... HOLY CrAP. Got insane shots of a sunset and a sunrise. The hotels out there are ridiculous... $350 a night (passed this one up), ended up at Stovepipe Ranch for a mere $212 a night for a hard as a brick bed for 3 hours of sleep. But, got sunrise pix at the dunes... which were breathtaking (will post pix of all this later). We hit just about every major 'view' in Death Valley, including lowest elevation on earth. Got a semi ordinary red striped rock in the rock beds outside the room. I think it's pretty:).
Friend got us front row center seats for David Copperfield! Now... I remember seeing him on TV as a kid, and his greatest act has to be to look exactly the same over 30 years. Uh...I was sitting 6" from him, and that's either the best plastic surgery I've ever seen, or the man's truly magic. He said he was 56. I don't believe him. His act was PHENOMENAL. He made a 57 chevy appear on stage while 2 guys held the posts... among a whole lot of other very crazy and amazing acts. NO Pix NO pix... so never get front row seats, since I could tell everyone in the back were sneaking pix... grrr.
Had dinner at the Lakeside at Wynn, which is a show in itself! Have pix of that too. Tonite, we're going to see La Reve, and going to try to get middle seats so no one sees me sneaking pix!
Will be here for the Mayweather vs Guerrero fight, which is right downstairs... haven't managed to talk my mom into going yet.. LOL~
That's an update. This is going to be my last trip to Vegas I think. This isn't so much Sin City as wipe out money city... HOLY CRAP everything is expensive. $27 to eat a frigging hotdog at a food court. $12 for a teeny bottle of HOTEL WATER at David Copperfield's show. $3.45 plus tax for a bottle of water at the food court. What the heck. $5.50 a gallon gas in Death Valley. Someone told me Vegas was cheap food, cheap hotels... they lied!
Pix in a week when I get home. After this, I'm not going on vacation again for 5 years!

Don't forget lunch at Mesa Grill at Ceasar's Palace. Tell them I sent you. Bobby Flay food is the best the TV boys have to offer.

Don, you haven't tared and feathered some of your politicians and I doubt that she is any worse than they are. Jim Nope. When a Dem gets voted out in this state, they stay in DC where they're loved.
