;D AND Coat those wheels CHEAP!
Couldn't resist, JOHNSON BROS has Diamond grit 9 bucks for 25 carats. SO! we dug out the worn NOVAS and slicked them up. MAN! them wheels workin GOOD!
speaking of homemade, just invented a new style of tattoo machine. Finished the prototype, and it runs like a BANDIT. My research shows totally original as far as patents go... time to dig deeper!
JOHNSON BROS HAS DIAMONDGRIT, nice price. The cost of resurfacing one nova 6" just got me 4grits, enough to do 2 recoats per grit, and make some custom dremel bits too...

I'm interested in how you do this too? Just went to their website but I only saw adds for sending the wheels to them for resurfacing.

Yep, once you get the patent issues worked out and you own the design show us the tatoo machine. I'm almost ready to get the cover up tat for the drunk marine in oceanside in 1975 misspelled (really) tatoo. There was a nova recoat thread a ways back, but my searching skills suck.

For the acetone I suggest you get pure acetone. Nail polish remover has stuff in it to prevent skin from drying that might have a negative effect on the bond.

Lee's right make sure it is pure Acetone! I mix mine a little heavy on Diamond and it works GREAT!
