This is psaronius tree fern that Ted collected. Had to cut it down a little so I got a couple of cuts like these before I turned it. I think it looks pretty cool! Cutting this direction now.

John, Ted sent me a few beautiful specimens of that wood for my collection. He finds it in the Saltfork River in Illinois....Mel

I like both cuts, but I think that I like it cut long-ways the best. That's some really cool stuff!!
