This is kind of an off the wall thread, but what happened to me yesterday, has probably happened to many on here.Lost rock, where did it go? It started off by my searching google for slag glass.Found lots of pics and was clicking them on.Lo and behold, one of the pics was one of mine I had taken years ago.In the pic was a beautiful chunk of red slag,a color I haven't seen since that pic.But where is it?I just vaguely remember it,but had forgotten it.Well, the search was on to no avail. Had I given it to one of my kids?Didnt think so.Had someone took it from my house when I wasn't there? I pride myself on having an inventory of my hoard in my mind. Maybe ol' Al Zimer kicked in a notch.Well, it bugged me all night and early morning. Then thought about the little store that had opened up next door a couple years ago.I had taken some stuff there to sell, and went over there to check what was there. And there it was,and more I had forgotten about. All ends well in this lost and found. I would like to hear your stories if its happened to you.And here is big red and the rest. Hey Curt, did you ever find that rock you were looking for? snuffy

Man, I lost this slab of fantastic plume agate, one of the best in my collection. I know I had it since I came to Texas because I had it laying out so I could label it. At least I thought I laid it out in the house. I've torn apart the house and shop like three times trying to find that dang slab and still no luck. Guess it's wherever my lost target stand is. Lost that stand, bought another, had it still in the box and lost it too. ? Must be friggin rock and target stand stealing gremlins....Mel
