that price is great.
you will spend a bit to get all the abrasives set up well, but still should be good value.
How easy to remove the hood over the left end wheel?
I am wondering if you could put an expand drum there - but would need to remove hood to change belts.
If you can, you could put inexpensive diamond grinding wheel in place of each stone. Maybe put closer together (change spacers) and get a 3rd wheel in there. If you could do 100g 220g hard wheel and 280 (or 320) hard resin sanding wheel. Then you could use 600g SiC on the thumper drum on the right. You could then get 1200g 3000g 8000g (and maybe 14000g) belts on the expando. Then you have the endplate for AO polish on muslin pad and/or 25K diamond paste on leather pad.
Or something like that.
BYW, something very odd in saw pic. The driven motor pulley looks like it is stuck in the side guide. Is that just angle of photo?

Deb the saw pic is the angle. I was thinking along the same lines where wheels are concerned didn't think of an expando to go on the left hand side, so that's one I will look at. It looks like the left hand hood is held on with a couple of screws so should be able to replace them with thumb screws.
First off tho will be to clean all the paint and oxidation off and repaint it.
