Thanks Phil did the cabs and sent them to me so you'll have to corner him on the onyx. He might have some to share.

Oh wow! Cool! Those are going to make great gifts! thank you thank you thank you...
As far as the stone, it's New Mexico Travertine that is infused with onyx. More travertine than onyx. I have about 12 slabs left of this particular pattern from that particular rock. Each chunk gives me different character. Every time I go to the quarry I never know what I'll find. I've gone back to get some more of this particular pattern and color scheme, but they had moved ops to a different part of the deposit and the material they were mining wasn't anywhere near as nice, I left without a single stone, as none of what was available appealed to me at all. Next time I go, who knows what I'll find!
Thank you Diane, if you want to do this again, let me know and I'll send some more. Hope the cabs we traded for wrap just as nicely and you can sell them easily! I think they'll go fast at your website! I'm sooooo excited.. can't wait till they get here!

Well, I was gonna post a pic of some of the slabs, but proboards v5 changes prevent me from posting any pics at all...

The wraps arrived in todays mail! WOW! Diane is #1! immediately went out and bought some chains and little white boxes for each one, put them all together, boxed, sealed and ready to be given away next Monday at the Sehior Advisory council as a thank you and example of what can be done in both lapidary and wire wrapping. Wish we had a wire wrap class here... <G> I need to learn how to do them like Diane does! Thank you Diane!
