Here are a few rocks I found yesterday, on a nearby river. Soon, high water will scramble the riverbeds for a month or so. Pet wood Some jaspers I think this is flint, looks to be a re-heal. Having seeing Mel's flint Nodules, due to the look of the skin I decided to whack this. It really sparks when struck against steel. This one has me baffled. I saw the agate part, looks like orangey orbs inside. I whacked the end off, and that looks cool too. I have no idea what this is, will have to figure out how to proceed.

nice trip.
No images in the field?? Some of us live in the city an live vicariously thru you guys that do not! We need flowers and scenery!

Scott, I fish and hunt rocks a lot in the summer, will post scenery shots when things come to life more. The scenery now, is still twixt winter and spring. Same area, late last summer.
