I'm in the process of rebuilding an 18" saw for the Modesto Junior College lapidary classroom. Our club supplies and/or maintains most of the lapidary equipment for them. I haven't had much time to devote to working on the saw for the last few months so I decided to get back on it this morning. I was removing the bolts for the screw drive cross shaft bearings and not paying too much attention to where I had to reach inside to get a wrench on the nuts. I got the first two off and I had a hard time reaching the back ones so I bent down and looked inside the base of the saw. OOPS! She was in the way! Bob

Actually I had been reaching in there but not that far back. It is the second one I have found in my shop this week. Bob
