Howdy folks, Yesterday was kind of an ehh cutting day. Chopped open quite a bit of stuff but most was doody. Here are a few pics....Mel Dense moss Rio grande" Eagle Pass Coquina, kind of like decomposed Devil's Toenails. Little fossil bits in limestone. Closer pic: This one is called Aztec Purple Lace ( not the same as Royal Aztec Purple Lace), though both are from Durango, MX. This was a fairly junky piece with too much brown. Ehh Shrinkwood: And finally, Red Plume from Lavic Siding. Closer look. Plume is too dense to suit me.

I agree with Randy--the plumes are gorgeous! What a show you are putting on Mel, I hope you continue to cut from your miscellaneous box.
