I would guess this is a dry polish step. Did they say how long this step should be? Robert

No - I havent heard of doing that before.
I would agree with Robert that it will most likely be for a dry polish tumble though, as I suspect that the lint would rapidly gather into clumps when wet.
I have used all sorts for the polish stage - trying to do things differently and experimenting for best results :-
Wood shavings - Pulverised - avoid.
Cork - Good (a bit messy)
Plastic Pellets - Excellent - easy to separate.
Rubber - Contaminated the solution and turned it black - worked but messy - the rubber was strips of cut up car mats when I ran out of pellets and the store had none either.
I cant see the lint doing any harm though - I'd give it a try and let us know.
