I know they need work. Exoerimenting on the groove by hand, not even or easy (red jasper with opal). As well as the kyanite grooves across the top. Ruined that one. Crystal with tanzanite, I did for my mom, bless her heart she loves it. I know there is a tool that does the groove just haven't spent the money for it yet. Got lots of wire and as Randy says practice. Thanks for looking. Attachments:

Good for you for posting these as well as for doing them. Randy is right, practice is the key. Glad your mom loves the crystal.

You all are so wonderful to help out a newbie . The next thing I have learned I do not have to have the rock in while trying to wrap around. Don't know why but I thought to make everything fit I would have to work with the stone in. Now I know a secret.....
