Digging in the yard (cause I don't have enough at home...) came across this. liked it in the yard loved it when I cut it open to this scene. What is it? Attachments:

This has the colors of belvade... and the yellow streaks in red are all over mine too. It could just be a less colorful slice?? Here are some examples of belvade (also called Paiute jasper) I have: Cabbed The colors are not always this bright (yours looks like it would be if wet, and most like the above- which I think is the much rarer form)... here's another belvade, that I think may be the more commonly seen form?:

June, ping Mel (Sabre52). He's like a human Wikipedia and can identify rocks just by their smell (kidding). I am not kidding about his ability to ID rocks, though. Dude's awesome.
