I found this in a landscape yard river rock pile. It supposedly came from the Llano River. Click on it to see it closer. Attachments:

Llano Rover, Texas?
Any chance we can see a daylight image for true color?

I adjusted tone and added a cooling filter. It looks like large grains of quartz and feldspar loosely cemented. Grains seem frosted to lightly yellow. Some larger grains show feldspar-like cleavage lines. I don't think it has a name. Quartzite has finer grains and much stronger cementing. Attachments:

Llano river drains lots of granite country. That reddish pink feldspar rich granite is all over the place out there. I have walkways landscaped with it in my yard. Granite does decompose upon exposure to the elements. I think your specimen is partially decomposed granite...Mel
