I cut this one today out of material from our Arizona claim I am pretty excited about this material. Cutting and finishing a stone from rough I have dug is so much more rewarding than buying windowed material. Don't get me wrong windows are good and much less hassle but when you cut a stone that you uncovered and were the first to see....well it just doesn't get much better than that! One of the frustrating things though is that when you start with totally rough material, is that you just never know what is underneath all the muck. Sometimes there is nothing, sometimes it is just a super thin layer of color that is very hard to exploit and other times....well....you get lucky and find something like this..... ![](http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp59/christopherlesso/Fire%20Agate%20Cabocons/224mmx168mmx525mmaz136ct-1.jpg) ![](http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp59/christopherlesso/Fire%20Agate%20Cabocons/224mmx168mmx525mmaz136ct-2.jpg) Thanks for looking, Christopher

It brings me great joy and humbles me at the same time....an odd mix of emotion, but one I am grateful to experience.

That stone seems to have an angry storm inside it. I'd be afraid to own it. I might break it and unleash that storm into my house!
;D

I have plumb run out of adjectives for your fire agates. You always have something drool worthy to show. Must be so nice to find these in the dirt and end up with something like this. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
