Cool! Didn't know that was your cousin that owned the trading Co! I live in the next county over, make it over there every few years.

I have been there but it's been a few years. I talked with a guy about finding garnets in the area but I never found any. I wonder if that was Randy I talked to. It is a really cool place to spend a few hours playing tourist. I like the people who dress in period attire and walk around the streets.

Need to have a vacation this summer.
Maybe I'll make a thread for a week long Montana adventure. Rockshops but no hounding. Visiting and sightseeing only.
Look for a thread.
How far is the drive from Kommifornia?

I have been just down the road from there and picked up over a thousand. I plan to be there in the fall on my annual MT trip.

If I'm available I might have to tag along on that trip foxtail. I'm back in Helena but will probably be working in eastern Montana for a while. Scott, no hounding, have you gone insane? LOL

You are welcome to tag along as long as you want, just as long as you can keep up.

LOL Yeah, rock hounding seems to be bad for family bliss. The ladies get bored fast! More bored rock hounding than snake hunting even!
