Sunday Slabs Not sure what kind of jasper this is. The first cut had the best pattern. Mahogany Obsidian Pipeline Agate, I didn't know it had oil in it! Not very attractive so I stopped at first slab. Not sure what"rose" this is..looks a bit like graveyard'esq. This was in a box from Catmandewe This was called Mexican Brown Agate at a local rock shop. $4.00/lb seemed like a steal for all the color. I can still get a lot of slabs from what I have left Was a good day with the slab saw Roger

Regency Rose = graveyeard. Nice! I am kinda proud that I was close lol The first jasper is Noreena?? I thought noreena was red & gold with a white or slate colored background. I have no idea where I got that from. It was a pretty small piece of rough that I found in the bottom of one of my buckets. It may have also been in a box from Catmandewe.
Thanks Daniel!

I was judging by the last two slices, where there were red/gold lines on gray/white background. I assumed the 1st two slices were part of red skin.
I could be wrong.

The one you're calling Pipeline agate is actually Cedar City agate from about 40 miles to the east of Pipeline (Holt) Canyon. Lynn
