I feel it is important to show-up to this meeting as our access to the desert and collecting areas could be limited and or restricted
The DAC (Desert Advisory Committee) of the BLM will meet on Saturday, June 8, 2013 to discuss "West Mojave Route Designation" . This is Access to our collecting areas! BLM needs to know we (rockhounds) care if access to our collecting sites are open or closed. Please attend if you can. Carriage Inn, 901 N. China Lake Blvd, Ridgecrest, CA, 93555. 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. Yes I know that is early to get to Ridgecrest but think of it as a fieldtrip! More info on BLM website www.blm.gov/ ca
You don't need to say anything if you don't want to- just by showing up it will let BLM know we DO care and want our recreation activity to be considered.
