Got your attention. Some of you guys have been bragging up boulder opal and deservedly so. I came across an eBay auction by Eugene McDevitt last week...OK, it was a Buy It Now. I never paid $90 for a lb of rock in my life, so I hope I can do this one justice. BO slideshow

Holy Cow... $90 for a small rock?!
I'd get a very skinny blade and do it with a trim saw for that money... LOL!

BO is pricey . . . the good stuff anyway. And Jean's is reputed to be the best.

I got one of his parcels~ so much fun to play with! I'm not sure I'm doing it justice, and dang, it's tricky, but the price is worth the entertainment for me!

Definitely awesome material! Susan, did you see the lady with the little boulder opal water fountains up at the CFMS show? Those were nice as well.
