Thanks, all Yep, I'm lately mad about the velvet ob. Bill, I've been working on cutting obsidian so it shines out centered when it's hanging in a pendant. This one was easy though as it was along the layering in the rough. Just had to alter it a tad, but this one was actually an end cap, and all I did was shape it.

Gorgeous Tony!!!!! Love the Velvet best of course but the 2nd Koroit is a close 2nd!!!! And I can't wait to cab the piece you sent me.... it is spot on perfect in every way!!!! For those of you that want to ogle over the way Tony orients his ob for slabbing..... check out this faint worthy beauty that he cut (and I now own WOOHOO!!!) And, full sunshine! His cut flashes just as good indoors as out!!!

I don't know.... I really like the first one and the ob! All are great, but those two are the ones that really caught me.... something kind of on the macabre side with the fist one that's pretty cool! Cathy

Nice work Tony. Usually if the velvet obsidian is cut 10-15 degrees off the flow lines, you'll wind up with the best colors.
