I have been trying to avoid spending money on rough rocks to slab and at the same time I am hoping to make some cabs from the boxes of slabs I have been accumulating. Here's a variety set I managed to get done today. turitella agate I got from member Herchenx's trip last year snowflake obsidian from an ebay purchase at $1 per pound last year ruby in zoisite thats been around awhile This rough was just labeled jasper/agate when I purchased it. Very hard material and takes a great shine. Here's a petoskey stone from member jugglerguy's early spring trip in the cold waters of Michigan. thanks for looking chuck

I like the photos, too. Great job on the cabs, I like the mystery jasper agate best.
