Been doing a few wraps that I've been meaning to get done. They aren't terribly inspired. Well one is...
A little gaspeite pendant for those that like smaller pendants.
A beautiful green gold spectrolite- also a little on the small size.
This one is amazing! Nature's Paintbrush with a ghost. Do you see it?? To me it is so obvious. AFTER, I took the pictures, I saw that the binding was off. I fixed it and now need to get new pictures. I've loved this stone from the second I laid eyes on it. I did not cut it. The stone is 52mm long. I have an old picture of a great great Aunt standing like this holding out a humungous lobster. This reminds me so much of the picture and Aunt Jenny. I don't see the lobster in the cab, but she was standing just like this. The arrow points at my binding boo boo. I can't believe I didn't see that until I saw the pictures. Pictures are so unforgiving. LOL!
One of those crap Indian cab jobs. I can't really fix these without a flatlap. But, it is a pretty lab, so I wrapped it up. These are such a pain to wrap. (To me, at least.)
A sentimental nugget of hematite that my sister in law wanted wrapped. It was real slippery and had an awful shape, but in the end, I rather like it. It's cute.
Aw... I love this Owyhee. I had a jacked up piece of rough that was almost this exact size, only it wasn't a slab, but a chunk. I had to glue in one small section to be able to get this cab. You can't really tell once it's wrapped. I built a dam on the girdle and built it out a hair with CA glue.
Last, but not least- a very small cab of stitchtite. It's so cute. I rarely make small pendants and needed to make some for my shop. For some reason, I don't mind making curls on the small ones. I almost never do it on larger ones. I'm really rusty and crappy at it, though.
Thanks for looking
